This Refund Policy explains when customers may request a refund for eligible VPSMakers services and how refunds are handled depending on the payment method used.
This Refund Policy forms part of the VPSMakers Terms of Service.
Refund eligibility differs between payments processed through Paddle and payments made using cryptocurrency.
Services associated with fraud, payment abuse, chargeback abuse, prohibited activities, or violations of the VPSMakers Terms of Service or Acceptable Use Policy are not eligible for a refund or VPSMakers account credit.
Paddle Payments
Where available at checkout, credit or debit card, PayPal, Apple Pay, and Google Pay payments offered by VPSMakers are processed through Paddle.
For transactions processed through Paddle, Paddle acts as the authorized reseller and Merchant of Record for the transaction.
The initial purchase of each new eligible VPSMakers service paid through Paddle is eligible for a full refund when the refund request is submitted within 14 days of the original service purchase, subject to the exclusions in this Refund Policy.
The 14-day refund period applies separately to the initial purchase of each new eligible service.
It does not restart when an existing service is renewed, upgraded, reconfigured, or otherwise modified.
72-Hour No-Questions-Asked Refund
For eligible initial service purchases paid through Paddle, refund requests submitted within the first 72 hours after purchase are handled on a no-questions-asked basis.
The customer is not required to provide a technical reason for requesting the refund during this period.
This does not apply where the service or account has been associated with:
- fraud
- payment abuse
- chargeback abuse
- phishing
- spam
- malware
- unauthorized access
- DDoS attacks
- prohibited content
- violations of the VPSMakers Acceptable Use Policy
- other abusive or unlawful activity
Refund Requests After 72 Hours
Eligible initial purchases paid through Paddle remain eligible for a full refund until the end of the 14-day refund period.
Refund requests submitted after the first 72 hours but within 14 days remain subject to the eligibility requirements and exclusions in this Refund Policy.
How Paddle Refunds Are Processed
VPSMakers does not directly send card, PayPal, Apple Pay, or Google Pay refunds to customers where the original transaction was processed through Paddle.
Where VPSMakers approves a refund for a Paddle transaction, the refund is handled through Paddle in accordance with the applicable transaction and Paddle’s procedures.
Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method where supported.
The time required for the refunded amount to appear may depend on Paddle, the customer’s bank, card issuer, PayPal, wallet provider, or other applicable payment network.
Customers may also have separate refund, withdrawal, cancellation, or other mandatory rights under Paddle’s Buyer Terms, Paddle Refund Policy, or applicable consumer law.
Nothing in this Refund Policy limits any rights that cannot legally be excluded.
Cryptocurrency Payments
Cryptocurrency payments are processed separately from Paddle.
Cryptocurrency payments are not refunded back to the cryptocurrency wallet from which the payment was originally sent.
Instead, the initial purchase of each new eligible service paid using cryptocurrency is eligible for a full VPSMakers account-credit refund when the request is submitted within 3 days of purchase.
The 3-day refund period applies separately to the initial purchase of each new eligible service.
24 Hours Cryptocurrency No-Questions-Asked Refund
Refund requests for eligible cryptocurrency purchases submitted within first 24 hours are handled on a no-questions-asked basis.
The full eligible invoice amount will be credited to the customer’s VPSMakers account balance.
Cryptocurrency refunds are not returned to an external cryptocurrency wallet.
This policy is used because cryptocurrency transactions are generally irreversible and cryptocurrency values and network conditions may change.
The no-questions-asked cryptocurrency refund does not apply where the service or account has been associated with fraud, abuse, prohibited activity, or a violation of the VPSMakers Terms of Service or Acceptable Use Policy.
VPSMakers Account Credit
Refunds issued for eligible cryptocurrency purchases are added to the customer’s VPSMakers account balance.
VPSMakers account credit:
- may be used toward eligible future VPSMakers services
- cannot be withdrawn as cash
- cannot be withdrawn as cryptocurrency
- cannot be transferred to an external payment method
- cannot be transferred to another customer account unless VPSMakers expressly agrees otherwise
Account credit does not have the same characteristics as cash, cryptocurrency, or a bank balance.
Renewals
Renewal payments are non-refundable.
The refund period applies to the initial purchase of each new eligible service and does not restart when that service is renewed.
Customers are responsible for reviewing their service renewal dates before manually paying renewal invoices.
Nothing in this section limits any mandatory refund or consumer rights that apply under law or any independent rights provided by Paddle for Paddle-processed transactions.
Upgrades
Payments made to upgrade an existing VPS, RDP, or other VPSMakers service are non-refundable.
This includes payments for additional or increased resources, higher plans, or other upgrades to an existing service.
An upgrade does not create a new 14-day or 3-day refund period for the underlying service.
Nothing in this section limits rights that cannot legally be excluded.
Duplicate Payments
If a customer accidentally makes a duplicate payment for the same invoice, order, or service, the customer should contact VPSMakers Billing as soon as possible.
VPSMakers will review the transaction and determine the appropriate resolution based on the payment method used.
For Paddle transactions, an eligible duplicate-payment refund will be handled through Paddle.
For cryptocurrency transactions, the applicable resolution may be provided as VPSMakers account credit where a refund to the original cryptocurrency wallet is not available.
Refund Exclusions
A service is not eligible for a refund or VPSMakers account credit if it has been used for activities that violate the VPSMakers Terms of Service or Acceptable Use Policy.
This includes, but is not limited to:
- fraud
- phishing
- spam
- malware
- ransomware
- botnets
- DDoS attacks
- unauthorized access
- malicious scanning
- credential theft
- torrenting or peer-to-peer file sharing
- cryptocurrency mining
- adult content
- gambling-related services
- payment abuse
- fraudulent chargebacks
- other prohibited, abusive, or unlawful activity
Where serious abuse or fraud is detected, VPSMakers may suspend or terminate the service or account without providing a refund.
Chargebacks and Payment Disputes
Opening a chargeback or payment dispute does not create additional refund eligibility under this Policy.
Where a payment dispute, unauthorized-payment report, or chargeback is received, VPSMakers may suspend the affected service or account while the matter is investigated.
VPSMakers may cooperate with Paddle, banks, card issuers, payment providers, or other relevant parties where reasonably necessary to investigate suspected fraud or payment abuse.
Fraudulent chargebacks or repeated payment abuse may result in permanent account termination and loss of refund eligibility.
Effect of a Full Refund
When a full refund or full VPSMakers account-credit refund is issued, the affected service will be terminated as part of the refund process.
Customers are responsible for backing up any data they wish to retain before requesting a refund.
After the service has been terminated, VPSMakers does not guarantee that service data, configuration, or the assigned IP address can be recovered.
Refund Request Deadline
Refund requests must be submitted within the applicable refund period:
Paddle payments: within 14 days of the initial purchase of each new eligible service.
Cryptocurrency payments: within 3 days of the initial purchase of each new eligible service.
Requests submitted after the applicable VPSMakers refund period are not eligible under this Refund Policy, except where applicable law or the relevant payment provider gives the customer additional mandatory rights.
How to Request a Refund
To request a refund, contact VPSMakers Billing or Support and provide enough information for us to identify the relevant account, service, invoice, or transaction.
Billing: billing@vpsmakers.com
Support: support@vpsmakers.com
For transactions processed through Paddle, customers may also use Paddle’s applicable buyer-support or transaction-management channels where available.
VPSMakers may request reasonable account or payment verification before processing a refund where necessary to prevent unauthorized or fraudulent refund requests.
Legal and Consumer Rights
Nothing in this Refund Policy is intended to exclude, restrict, or override consumer protections, statutory withdrawal rights, refund rights, or other legal protections that cannot lawfully be excluded.
For transactions processed through Paddle, Paddle’s applicable Buyer Terms, Refund Policy, and mandatory consumer protections may also apply.
Where applicable law or Paddle provides a customer with rights greater than those provided by this VPSMakers Refund Policy, those additional rights will apply.
Changes to This Refund Policy
VPSMakers may update this Refund Policy from time to time to reflect changes to our services, payment methods, payment providers, policies, legal requirements, or business practices.
Any updated version will be published on the VPSMakers website and the “Last Updated” date will be revised.
Where permitted by applicable law, the policy applicable at the time of the relevant transaction and any mandatory rights applicable to that transaction will determine refund eligibility.
