VPSMakers Privacy Policy

Effective Date: May 19, 2023

Last Updated: October 20, 2026

VPSMakers respects the privacy of its customers and website visitors.

This Privacy Policy explains what personal information VPSMakers collects, how that information is used, when it may be shared, how it is protected, and what privacy rights may be available to you.

This Privacy Policy applies to the VPSMakers website, customer accounts, billing system, VPS and RDP services, support communications, and other services provided under the VPSMakers brand.

About VPSMakers

Brand: VPSMakers

Website: https://vpsmakers.com

VPSMakers provides self-managed Virtual Private Servers (VPS), RDP services, MikroTik VPS services, and related hosting infrastructure.

For privacy-related questions or requests, you may contact:

Privacy and Support: support@vpsmakers.com

Information We Collect

The information we collect depends on how you interact with VPSMakers and which services you use.

Account and Contact Information

When you create an account, place an order, or communicate with VPSMakers, we may collect information such as:

  • name
  • email address
  • account username
  • authentication and account information
  • billing address
  • company information, where provided
  • VAT or tax identification information, where applicable
  • order and service information
  • support tickets and communications
  • files or information you voluntarily provide to VPSMakers Support

Customers are responsible for ensuring that the information associated with their account is accurate and up to date.

Billing and Transaction Information

VPSMakers maintains billing and transaction records necessary to manage customer accounts, orders, invoices, refunds, renewals, payment disputes, and service provisioning.

This may include:

  • invoice information
  • transaction identifiers
  • payment status
  • payment method type
  •  billing information
  • refund information
  • service and order references
  • information received from the applicable payment provider

VPSMakers does not store full credit or debit card numbers when payment processing is handled by Paddle or another external payment provider.

Payments Processed by Paddle

Where available at checkout, credit or debit card, PayPal, Apple Pay, and Google Pay payments offered by VPSMakers are processed through Paddle.

For transactions processed through Paddle, Paddle acts as an authorized reseller and Merchant of Record.

Paddle independently collects and processes personal information required to complete the transaction, manage payment processing, prevent fraud, comply with applicable legal requirements, and provide buyer-facing payment services.

Paddle and VPSMakers may each process certain customer information for their respective purposes in connection with the transaction.

VPSMakers may receive information from Paddle that is reasonably necessary to:

  • identify the customer and order
  • provision the purchased service
  • maintain billing records
  • provide customer support
  • process or assist with refunds
  • prevent and investigate fraud
  • investigate payment disputes or chargebacks
  • comply with applicable legal obligations

Paddle processes personal information according to its own Privacy Notice and applicable terms.

Customers should review Paddle’s Privacy Notice when completing a Paddle transaction.

Cryptocurrency Payments

Cryptocurrency payments are processed separately from Paddle through supported cryptocurrency payment services.

For cryptocurrency payments, VPSMakers may process information such as:

  • transaction ID or transaction hash
  • cryptocurrency and blockchain network used
  • payment amount
  • payment status
  • invoice or order reference
  • other information necessary to identify or verify the payment

Blockchain transactions may be publicly visible on the applicable blockchain.

VPSMakers does not control information that is publicly recorded on a blockchain.

Identity Verification and Payment Ownership Checks

VPSMakers does not require identity verification for every transaction.

However, additional identity or payment-ownership verification may be requested where reasonably necessary for:

  • suspected fraud
  • suspicious or high-risk transactions
  • confirming that a customer is authorized to use a payment method
  • investigating unauthorized-payment reports
  • handling chargebacks or payment disputes
  • account security
  • legal or regulatory compliance

Verification may be performed manually by the VPSMakers team.

Information requested for verification may include identification documents or other information reasonably necessary to establish the identity of the customer or ownership of the payment method.

Retention of Verification Documents

Identity documents submitted directly to VPSMakers for verification are used only for the applicable verification, security, fraud-prevention, or dispute-review purpose.

Where verification is successfully completed, verification documents are normally deleted within approximately three days after the review is completed.

Where verification cannot be completed and the transaction or order is rejected, the submitted verification documents are deleted after the verification and refund or payment-review process has been resolved.

Where there is evidence of suspected fraud, unauthorized payment activity, or a payment dispute, limited information reasonably necessary for investigating or reporting the matter may be shared with Paddle, the relevant payment provider, bank, card issuer, or other appropriate party before the verification information is deleted.

VPSMakers does not use identity documents submitted for verification for advertising or marketing purposes.

Technical, Security, and Usage Information

When you use the VPSMakers website, customer account, or services, certain technical information may be generated or collected.

This may include:

  • IP addresses
  • browser and device information
  • operating system information
  • login timestamps
  • account access information
  • website or customer-area session information
  • error and diagnostic information
  • security logs
  • abuse-related records
  • server and network-related technical information
  • information associated with attempts to access or use VPSMakers systems

This information may be used to operate and secure VPSMakers services, detect abuse, troubleshoot technical problems, prevent fraud, and protect customers and infrastructure.

Information Stored on Customer VPS and RDP Services

VPSMakers provides self-managed server infrastructure.

VPSMakers does not routinely access, inspect, monitor, or review the contents stored inside customer VPS or RDP services.

VPSMakers does not normally possess the customer’s operating-system login password or other credentials required to access the contents of a self-managed server.

If a customer requests technical support for an issue that requires access inside the server, the customer may voluntarily provide login credentials to VPSMakers Support.

Where such credentials are provided, VPSMakers may access the affected server only as reasonably necessary to investigate or assist with the customer’s support request.

Customers are encouraged to change any credential shared with VPSMakers Support after the support request has been completed.

Where an abuse or security complaint relates to a customer service, VPSMakers may restrict or suspend the affected service and request that the customer investigate, remove the problematic content or software, or reinstall the service where appropriate.

VPSMakers may process technical network, account, and security information associated with the service even where VPSMakers does not access the contents of the customer’s server.

  • creating and managing customer accounts
  • processing orders

Measures may include:

  • access controls
  • authentication controls

Third-party services, including payment providers, may use their own cookies or similar technologies when you interact with their services.

Those third parties control their own cookies according to their own privacy and cookie policies.

If VPSMakers introduces analytics, advertising, or other non-essential tracking technologies in the future, this Privacy Policy and any required cookie-consent mechanisms will be updated where necessary.

Disabling essential cookies may prevent certain website or customer-account functions from operating correctly.

International Data Processing

VPSMakers services, infrastructure providers, payment providers, customer-management systems, and other service providers may operate in different countries.

As a result, personal information may be processed or stored outside the country in which the customer resides.

Where applicable law requires specific safeguards for international transfers, VPSMakers will take reasonable steps to use appropriate safeguards or rely on another lawful transfer mechanism.

Third-party providers such as Paddle may independently process and transfer information according to their own privacy notices and legal obligations.
